Gorge Walking

Imagine climbing up and/or down steep stream beds, over rocks, under waterfalls and through narrow canyons. To get a group to successfully navigate a gorge requires them to work well as a team and be very supportive of each other. It is an activity all groups love and the feedback is always one of fun and enjoyment.

The actual route up a given gorge can be varied to take into account the group’s ability, and it can be a wet or dry activity depending on the group’s objectives. Sometimes ropes and harnesses can be used, with a harder route option chosen, while in other cases we may wear full wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets and slide down the waterfalls into deep pools below.

We are lucky to have a number of gorges on our doorstep that are suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities and we can ensure that the challenge is always at the right level.
