Problem Solving

All our adventurous activities involve young people in developing their personal, learning and thinking skills, whilst in a real context.  Problem solving can also be delivered as a separate activity is very popular and often forms part of the induction, half a day’s activity, an evening activity or where there is a spare 5 minutes in the day.  Schools frequently identify certain areas that they see as important for their pupils to develop; these are then specifically addressed during the course.  Where schools are involved with using Outdoor Learning Cards for delivering problem solving, we can further extend the excellent work already being done.

We make sure that all young people are involved with all aspects of planning, completing the tasks and most importantly reflecting on their efforts.

Whether crossing a stream using ropes or getting through a spiders web without getting caught, we make sure the tasks capture the imagination of groups whilst challenging them both physically and mentally.
